Hi guys,
It's me Tate and I need to say something very quickly. There will be no reviews this week and possibly even next week. This is because of me and Jordan being super busy on a couple of things such as the two projects for this blog that we will be doing before the end of the year. We wish we had enough time to post reviews but we end up screwing up our routines so we forget what albums we are meant to review hence why my review is late and other things that are very late(Gorillaz-D-Sides). But hopefully we will get our stuff together and finally make our reviews on time. Another thing we will have to mix our film reviews blog with our TV show reviews blog because if we tried to run 3 blogs at once we would probably die of heart failure due to stress. Last and probably least we will only have 1 movie review a month and a TV show review once every two weeks. This will be starting next year.
Anyway, hope you people have a lovely Christmas or if don't celebrate it well just have a nice 2 weeks.
Happy Holidays.

Pink Floyd-The Wall CD 1 Review.
Pink Floyd-The Wall.
Artist:Pink Floyd.
Genre:Rock
Genre:Rock
Released:November 30,1979.
Fav Tracks:In The Flesh?, Another Brick In The Wall Part 2, Is There Anybody Out There?, Nobody Home, Vera, Comfortably Numb, One Of My Turns.
Least Fav Tracks:In The Flesh,
Review:
Pink Floyd The Wall is an album about abandonment and isolation and tells the story of Pink a character created by Syd Barrett(the founder of Pink Floyd) and Roger Waters(Singer and Bass player). Pink has a terrible life due to his father dying in World War 2 explained by the sound of bombs dropping and then a baby crying at the end of the 1st track of cd 1, In The Flesh?, and his mother who is smothering him and that is only scrapping the surface of the depressing things that have happened to Pink. This album was split up into two CDs so that's what I'm gonna be doing for this review.
CD-1 review.
The first track In The Flesh? is my personal favourite track on the album because of the calm opening which suddenly changes moods. The song has an amazing riff and a slow yet satisfying production for a rock album. The song randomly changes moods but it is so fluent that it doesn't really bother me.
The next track, The Thin Ice which is an allegory to the saying "Your skating on thin ice" which means that you better not do anything that is bad because if you do your gonna go right through the ice. This is heavily applied to the song. The song is ok but I feel as though it lacks character and so it isn't really that memorable. The production is good, the riff is better then okay but not quite good and the vocals like in every track of the album are really a love/hate relationship. They are good for most people but bad for others and please keep that in mind for the rest of my cd 1 review because it's the case with all the songs on cd 1.
Another Brick In The Wall Part 1 gives off a creepy atmosphere whilst also setting up the riff for Another Brick In The Wall Part 2.
The Happiest Days Of Our Lives is an introduction track to Another Brick In The Wall Part 2 and was surprisingly good, even for an introduction track. It sets up the production very well whilst also enhancing the riff that was set up in Another Brick In The Wall Part 1. Also might I just add that the transition from this song to Another Brick In The Wall Part 2 is so phenomenal that you don't even notice that the song has changed until you look at what track you're on. Overall very good.
Another Brick In The Wall Part 2 is one of Pink Floyd's most well known songs and was my favourite song of all time for a couple of months. The production and riffs give off a creepy atmosphere whilst also being a very enjoyable piece of music. The vocals are great and overall this song is probably Pink Floyd at their best. The song tells an amazing story about kids in school after the events of WW2.
Mother, oh my god. This song was depressing as hell. The song had a pretty basic riff and an enjoyable production but where the song excels is in it's storytelling and vocals. The story is all about Pink's mother and for most of the song it is, no joke, just Pink asking questions to his mother. But when the chorus starts to play you will get a chill down your spine. Roger Waters singing in this song is almost enough to bring you to tears. It feels as though he has been through some tough and scarring things with his mother. Overall a very depressing song.
Goodbye Blue Sky is a song about WW2 and how it affected innocent people. It has amazing singing and it gives off a creepy yet also happy vibe. The guitar in this song is pretty much what makes it happy. The lyrics are really creepy as well.
Empty Spaces starts of slow and gets progressively faster but by the end of the song it's still pretty slow. It's also an introduction track to Young Lust.
Young Lust starts off strong and stays that way with a great riff, good production, good vocals and a good keyboard accompaniment. The song tells of how Pink wants a fun women in his life. The transition from this song to the next is probably the worst in the whole entire album.
One Of My Turns tells us of Pink's descent into craziness. He causes his girlfriend to run away from him in horror. The first time I heard this song, I did not expect such an emotional ending. The production is good and so is the riffs. Overall this song was a trip into madness.
Just so you know the next two songs are about Pink going crazy and then finally deciding to kill himself in the final song.
Don't leave me now is probably my least favourite song on the album due to there not being a good flow or production for the first three quarters of the song. This song has two meanings. The fact that he doesn't want his girlfriend to leave him and that he is also starting to realise that he is crazy.
Another Brick In The Wall Part 3 is all about him being crazy and supposedly "not needing anything at all"yet he really does. It has a good production and a good riff.
The last track of CD 1, Goodbye Cruel World, is all about how Pink is going to kill himself. No seriously, that is the whole concept of the song and really the song kinda sucks. It's very powerful and was a satisfying ending to the first half of the album but it lacks a good riff or production. In fact I don't even think the production in this song can even be counted as a production.
Overall the first half of the album was very enjoyable and really deserves a listen. The review of the next half of the album will be out by the end of the year so please don't be coming back to the blog next week expecting it to be out. Also please check out Those Guys Who Review Films for more reviews of your favourite movies.

Lil Wayne - Sorry For The Wait 2
Lil Wayne - Sorry For The Wait 2
Genre: Hip Hop
Released: 20 January 2015
Fav tracks: Dreams And Nightmares, Alphabet
Least fav tracks: Hollyweezy, You Guessed It, Shit, Coco, Try Me, Drunk In Love,
Review: 'Sorry For The Wait 2' is a mixtape released by American rapper Lil Wayne. This mixtape is a followup to 'Sorry For The Wait' and is an apology for the delay of Tha Carter 5 which was delayed because of label problems with Birdman. 'Coco'. What did i just listen to. The autotune somehow makes his voice worst. And worst of all this isn't even his own production, in fact most of these songs aren't. He just took them from popular songs. 'Shit' is Shit. He's so offkey that it hurts. This is worse than the original. He can't even keep a steady flow on this song. By the way, “My Choppa go doom da da. Di da di da da” is the worst lyric i've ever heard. Worse than most ICP lyrics. Although having the best production of all the songs before it 'Trap House's lyrics are absolutely horrendous. However his flow saves the track.
For me 'Selsun Blue' is so bad that it's good. the production is pretty good but the lyrics are absolutely terrible but they're actually really funny. "Got the Yay locked down like Kim K". 'Used To' has great production with a hard hitting bass and some funny lines "Suck a nigga dick for a iPhone 6, Fuck my nigga Terry for a new Blackberry." On 'No Type' Lil Wayne sounds like he was making up things while rapping. The instrumental is borrowed from 'No Type' by Rae Sremmurd. "But when I met codeine it was love at first Sprite." 'Fingers Hurting's production is actually pretty and original. His lines aren't perfect but on one part he starts speed rapping which was pretty interesting. 'Hot Nigga' actually has Lil Wayne 'rapping'. He's saying funny lines and he's keeping a steady flow. "Yea, I'm consuming grass like a cash cow". 'Hollyweezy' is the most painfully long and boring songs i've ever listened to. The first two verses are super short and are both abruptly interrupted with the chorus but after that the chorus never comes back and the song just gets excruciatingly boring. The production for this song is just generic trap, nothing new. It's messy and lazy. I refuse to listen to this song ever again. This song is five minutes of trash. 'Drunk In Love' has the worst chorus on this whole mixtape and is a poor excuse for Wayne to lazily talk about sex. It's not even sensual it's just lazy. Christina Milian is singing lazily over the chorus and the third verse.
In 'You Guessed It' he rarely actually rhymes and his voice is insufferable especially on this song. The original song by OG Maco already had lazy production which sounds like it took two minutes to make but with Wayne over it, it just sounds terrible. 'Try Me' is just lazy and boring. 'Preach' has some catchy production and some funny lines from 2 Chainz. It has nothing great but nothing bad either. If i have to say anything about 'Alphabet' I would definetely say it's very clever. In this song he uses the alphabet to describe some girls he knows. The song is interesting and has some dreamy production taken from the song 'Tuesday' by iLoveMakonnen. I would say that unlike other songs on this mixtape this version is much better than the original. 'No Haters' isn't annoying enough to be unlistenable. The instrumental is generic trap with some weird synths, but not weird in a good way. His lines on this song aren't terrible but they aren't good either. "Money and Drugs, I'm talkin Math and Science. I fucked her friend, I don't feel bad about it." 'Admit It' is a song full of sex references which would annoy me but at this point the albums so long and dreadful that i enjoyed the nice change in production. 'Dreams And Nightmares" starts of with a beautiful piano piece with Wayne telling us the truth about him and his friends. He says that the money turned them into killers. But halfway through this song he just goes insane. He sounds energetic and on beat. This song would have fit good into any of Wayne's albums.
This mixtape is a nightmarish mess that i would never recommend to anyone. The lyrical topics can range from sex to murder. This is Wayne at his worst. He sounds whiny, annoying and stupid. If this is what was going to be on 'Tha Carter V' then i'm glad Birdman's delaying it. Wayne honestly just needs to take a break from music for a while because this is just awful.

You guys have been the best audience and as a reward for your viewership, we will be releasing 2 movie and 3 music reviews on 23/2/16. So once again I must say thank you. One more annoying announcement that me and Jordan will be releasing a discussion about The Simpons and whether or not it is still good or if it is terrible and should be cancelled or finished. That discussion will be released along side the Pink Floyd The Wall review on Friday of this week.
Thanks once again and I will see you later on in the week.

JME - BLAM! (Jordan's review)
JME - BLAM!
Released: 4th October 2010
Genre: Grime
Rating: 9/10
Rating: 9/10
Fav Tracks: Sidetracked, Music Ting, I Love Music, Jme, Hospital, CD Is Dead, Pick Up The Mic, Blam!
Least Fav Tracks: Darker
Review: Grime is an English style of rap that often has instrumental influences ranging from House to Hip hop sounds. The Grime genre was solidified by artists such as Plan B. A very prominent crew in the grime scene was the Meridian Crew, but after they left Jamie Adenuga better known as JME founded BBK. Today I'll be reviewing JME's second studio album, Blam.
'Darker' sounds like a song that would fit better on an ICP album. The whole call and response thing just doesn't work for me. Darker doesn't really help the songs case in any way. And it's production just sounds silly. 'Famalam' has some really nice video game sounds and weird sounds popping up everywhere but unlike 'Darker' it actually fits the song well. Jme's lyrics on this song are about him being a good rapper. 'Over Me' is a popular song from JME's discography but I personally wasn't ever a huge fan of the song. It's EDM sounding synths just don't fit with JME well for me. 'Jme' is where this album starts to pick up and get better. He has some clever rhymes in this song and is overall just funny in this song. The chorus of this song brings across his message very well, "You will never be like 'JME'". The song tells us JME's life story and describes him as a rapper very well.
'CD Is Dead' has a catchy techno sounding instrumental. I've always found Tempa T annoying because of his amount of aggression he always shows but on this track the aggression fits the track well. The song is telling bad rappers to get a day job and stop rapping. 'Hospital' is a hard hitting that's about music being the only cure for sickness. The song heavily samples 'The Prodigy's 'Take Me To The Hospital' and makes it fit the song well. 'Pick Up The Mic' has some funny lines and has simple, classic JME production. 'It's Not A Long Ting' has some pretty dumb lines, "It used to be a ching chang chong ting" however the song overall has some nice production and funny lyrics.
'Money On My Brain' is a song about JME's money. The song is a clear parody of other rappers. Normally that would annoy me but it also has some good lines. (And some bad lines of course). The production for the song uses some more video game sounds and it sounds really good on this track. The title track 'Blam!' is hilarious. He talks about what he would do to someone if they were saying things about him to other people. The song has some simple production. 'I Love Music' is a clever song about how much music changed his life. It has some clever and funny lines and a brilliant instrumental because of the use of the choir sounds and the beautiful synths in the background.
'Oh' is a song about the ups and downs of his relationship with a girl. He talks about how sometimes they fight but then they just make up and go on a trip. It's production has some nice sample work and a good meaning. 'Sidetracked', one of the best songs on the album, is about how JME's lost his life and can't seem to get it back. This song shows how everyone has a tough life, no matter how rich or famous you are. It has some lyrics about how when he was feeling down he had no one to talk to. The song has some nice catchy production with the guitar sounds and has fellow BBK rapper 'Wiley'. 'I'm The Best' is about how JME's the best rapper in his area. It has some funny lines with references to 'Super Mario' and some catchy production that has some 'Rave Music' synths over a grime beat. 'Music Ting' is an amazing song about how nobody wanted JME in the music industry and nobody wanted to see him succeed but he did anyway. The song has insightful lyrics and catchy production with the nice, ambient choir sounds in the background and catchy synths. The last track, 'Mario's Flag' is an instrumental with 'Super Mario' samples throughout. The song's catchy but repetitive.
Overall this song is a fun and intresting listen and I recommend you listen to it. It should be somewhere on Youtube or Spotify https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0B08F6E4FF22E82F. Thank you for reading this review and it would be respected if you left a comment telling us what you think about this album or this review.

Kid Cudi - Man On The Moon: The End Of The Day
Kid Cudi - Man On The Moon: The End Of The Day
Released: 15 September 2009
Genre: Hip-Hop, Psychadelia
Fav Tracks:(I can't decide between 'Solo Dolo' and 'Cudi Zone' so they're both my favourite) Cudi Zone, Solo Dolo, Heart Of A Lion, Day N Nite, Pursuit Of Happiness, My World, Sky Might Fall
Least Fav Tracks: Make Her Say
Review: Here's a bit of insight on Cudi. This is his debut which was recieved pretty well and was followed up by 'Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager'. But Cudi then lost his mind and made a pretty bad rock album called 'WZRD'. Then there was 'Indicud' which we'll be reviewing along with 'Man On The Moon II'. Satellite flight was okay but then Cudi released the atrocity that Speeding Bullet 2 Heaven. Recently Kid Cudi entered rehab and I wish him all the best for future music, ('Passion Pain and Demon Slayin'). But i decided to take a look at his interesting debut album. Man On The Moon is the debut concept album by Kid Cudi. Kid Cudi is known for not making normal hip hop. He has a style of his own. 'In My Dreams' introduces the story line of the album and starts of the first act 'The End Of The Day'. Apparently Kid Cudi Is dreaming about everything he's ever wanted. The track is really dreamy and atmospheric and tells us what to expect from this album. 'Soundtrack 2 My Life' is the song that details his past life when he was younger, always playing by himself. The song is a bit too happy sounding for my liking, however it does advance the story. 'Simple As' is a song detailing the truth about him, that he does weed likes women etc. It also marks the end of the first act 'The End Of The Day'. The songs lyrics are it's only problem. They feel a bit to plain and generic even if they do advance the story.
'Solo Dolo' is Cudi escaping the world using his dreams. This song is the most atmospheric song on the track listing and it really strengthens the concept of the album. It also marks the start of the second act 'Rise Of The Night'. 'Heart Of A Lion' is an inspirational anthem talking about how nothing can break him down in life. This song has a strong message and is also extremely catchy. 'My World' marks the end of the second act and is about how after all his hard work soon the world would be his. The only problem with this song is that on the verses Cudi sounds like he's just about to fall asleep. Can rappers ever stop sounding asleep on their own songs? However the chorus is powerful enough to earn this song a spot in my favourites.
'Day N Nite' marks the beginnig of the third act and also is about the death of his uncle and how drugs have helped him deal with it. However the song also poses as a nightmare track which means these are his biggest fears, in other words he never wanted to use drugs but he ended up doing them due to the death of his uncle. This song has powerful lyrics and strong production. 'Day N Nite' is also the first single from the album. The song 'Sky Might Fall' is about Kid Cudi dealing with his nightmares and fears. He states in the song that he just 'keeps running'. The song has nice production and a good meaning. It also progresses the concept of the album. 'Enter Galactic (Love Connection Part 1)' is a groovy, upbeat song about him convincing his girlfriend to try mushrooms. It's a nice change of pace for the album but the way he says the lyrics make it sound like i'm at a bad poetry slam. This song actually got worse the more I listened to it. This song also marks the end of the third act.
'Alive' is about Cudi turning into a beast in the night. Ratatat's stellar production just doesn't fit the meaning of the song. It's supposed to sound scary and menacing but it instead just sounds silly. This song also marks the start of the fourth act 'Stuck'. 'Cudi Zone' is a song about how far he's gone from the bottom to the top but he still can't find peace anywhere. He still has to get high just to feel better. 'Cudi Zone' did exactly what i expected 'Heart Of A Lion' to do which is to just really push home the inspirational part of the song. The chorus for this song is also really powerful. Both 'Cudi Zone' and 'Solo Dolo' are my favourite songs on the album. The second single 'Make Her Say' is a song devoted completely to how good felatio is. It's typical for Cudi to talk about how he loves women as they keep him sane in this crazy world. The song samples Poker Face by Lady Gaga and features questionable guest verses from Kanye West and Common. Kanye's verse was good until the "toasts-es, coasts-es" rhyme. It was just lazy, it didn't fit and it wasn't good. The final single 'Pursuit Of happiness' marks the end of the fourth act and is about the death of his father and the worst parts of fame and about how he wakes up sweating at nights. Ratatat does an amazing job of the production on this song and Cudi's lyrics provide a good message for the song. It's an amazing end to the act and stands as one of Cudi's most popular songs to date.
'Hyerr' marks the start of the fifth and final act 'A New Beginning'. The song is a smooth laid back song about getting high. It is a definite change of pace for the album. 'Up Up And Away' marks the end of the final act and the end of the album. It's about him waking up to smoke every morning. The song is one of the few rock-ish songs on the album. This song has a very happy sound but a sort of depressing meaning. This album has a strong concept and is an interesting listen. Thank you for reading this review, it would be much appreciated if you left a comment and shared this review with your friends.

Metallica - Atlas, Rise! (Jordan's Review)
Metallica - Atlas, Rise! (Single Review)
Released: 31 October 2016
Genre: Heavy Metal
Review: This is the third single released from their upcoming album 'Hardwired To Self Destruct'. This album is planned to be released at 18th November 2016. So much edge am I right? It's intro is pretty long and boring. The video is more interesting than the song. The lyrics are pretty lame. Even the guitar solo bores me to death.

Genre: Heavy Metal.
Review:
This is the third single from Metallica's upcoming album Hardwired...to Self-Destruct releasing 18/11/16 and I wouldn't be saving money on this one because it kinda sucks. Like don't get me wrong if your Metallica fan you will probably listen to this song and say "I'm gonna buy this album" because it's pretty much the same thing as every Metallica song ever. But after listening to many of their albums it kinda seems as though they are all the same song. Like the production is similar, the edgy lyrics are the same and the riffs even seem similar. Like I know Metallica is trying to go back to their roots but come on they are all like 50 so it kinda seems as though they should stop making metal music for their own health. Anyway Atlas,Rise is disappointing because it is literally the same thing as their other singles from their new album. The production is good yet it is quite lack-luster, the riffs are boring, the vocals are good and the lyrics are okay, I guess, but they just seem to be well cringy and edgy but if you are into that listen to the song and comment your opinion down below. I will say this Metallica is getting better, slowly but surely.

Frank Iero And The Patience-Parachutes review.(Tate's review)
Frank Iero And The Patience-Parachutes.
Artist-Frank Iero And The Patience.
Release-October 28,2016.
Fav Tracks:Just no. None. Zilch. Nothing is good. Okay maybe The Resurrectionist,Or An Existential Crisis In C#
Least Fav Tracks:Miss Me,They Wanted Darkness.
Review:
This album gave me cancer. Okay that's a lie but this is beyond terrible. The vocals don't work for this style of Heavy Metal hybrid, the production is okay at best with it's high point being in the song Oceans which is still nothing special and the riffs, oh no.
This is a contender for my worst album of the year. I mean the introduction for this pile of trash, I mean album was promising and it then instantly went down the drain when Frank Iero started singing. Man he can't sing. If you think he can sing that's your own opinion and I respect that but I can't enjoy his singing and it's not good. All the time I can just hear his voice breaking. The album is overall forgettable and just serves no point in existing. Metacritic my 2nd most hated website (4chan being my most hated website) rated this 86%. Don't trust it. Just don't. Metacritic is terrible at rating things so don't listen to this album unless you want to be brought through pain. If you are a critic review this right now. If you are a music fanatic listen to like 2 tracks and then give up. If you are just a normal person who is just surfing the web don't listen to this album and i mean it. Even if the NeedleDrop gives this a 10/10 he is wrong. I mean this album is a blend of ok production, terrible vocals and questionable riffs which ends up being terrible. The interview will be released soon after this if you wanna know what Jordan thought of this album. But until then you know what I thought of the album. I tell you now this could be my worst album of the year. This album can't be taken seriously. It's a joke to any other artists and to say that this is a good album is more then a lie.Its blastphimy. I laughed at certain points in the album that were beyond idiotic. I mean this, this album was terrible. It had no enjoyable worth while points and really just didn't bring any new things or even improved on certain aspects of this genre which while I was listening to this album I could not figure out what genre this was. I'm gonna stop my little rant here. There will be another review next week but until then I wish you all a good week.

Frank Iero And The Patience - Parachutes (Jordan's review)
Frank Iero And The Patience - Parachutes
Released: 28 October 2016
Genre: Punk-Rock
Fav Tracks: Viva Indifference, 9-6-15, Veins! Veins!! Veins!!!, World Destroyer
Least Fav Tracks: Remedy, I'll Let You Down, They Wanted Darkness, I'm A Mess
Review: Frank Iero is the rhythm guitarist for My Chemical Romance who continued to release solo projects after their breakup under different monikers. This is his latest album under the moniker 'Frank Iero And The Patience'. The first track 'World Destroyer' is a very promising intro for the album as it has a hard thumping bad and a heavy riff. 'Veins! Veins!! Veins!!! is a hard hitting track which honestly made me excited for the rest of this album. One thing i started to really notice was the vocals which were, um, terrible. I'm A Mess prepared me for what was REALLY to expect from this album. The lazy songwriting and awful singing on this track hurts. He just sounds really arrogant on this song. 'I'm A Mess' is truly a mess.
'They Wanted Darkness' is a painfully slow song about his friends. Somehow it gets significantly worse when it picks up speed. The songwriting on this track actually isn't that bad and gives us an insight into how he feels about his friends, but the vocals make this really hard to listen to. 'I'll Let You Down' is when this album REALLY starts to hurt my ears. The lyrics are lazy and the vocals are god awful. I can't imagine anyone liking this song. Worst of all, it's 4:26 long. The last minute of the song is spent repeating what they just stated. Frank seems to put WAY too much emotion into some of these songs.
'Remedy' is hands down the worse song of 2016. Seriously what did i just listen to. The intro is a warning sign to skip the song immediately but the vocals are the worst on this song specifically. 'Dear Percocet, I Don't Think We Should See Each Other' is where this album picks up and starts to get better. The song is heavy as hell and the lyrics are interesting. 'Miss Me' is a really terribly boring folk song about the same stuff he's already talked about on this album, and for some reason the mixer decided it would be smart to add distortion to his voice. On a folk song. His vocals were bad enough but the production and distortion just make them worse. 'Oceans' is a actually no that bad due to its lyrics and emotion. but there's just the right amount of emotion.
The lyrics in The Resurrection, Or An Existential Crisis In C# are atrocious but the vocals fit the track so I give this one a pass. Viva Indifference is one of the only tracks i'd listen to in my spare time. It has some insightful lyrics here and there. 9-6-15 is a slow ballad about his grandfather who dies on the date 9th September 2015 which explains the title. halfway through it gets louder which is a relief because it was getting too slow for my liking. The song shows Iero's true emotion.
This album is one of the biggest disappointments of 2016. It just sounds like a huge mess from start to finish. Check out this album on youtube if you want, but you have been warned. Also check out Tate's review for this. He sounded way more annoyed at this album than me.

Update
UPDATE
So I did not expect to be having to write another update but I guess I have to. Our blog is growing so quickly. About 1 day ago our music blog hit 250 page views. That is a massive amount of people and it kinda scares me to know that we are probably one of the fastest growing bloggers on Blogger.com. We don't deserve this. We really don't. But according to the amount of views we have been getting we apparently do deserve this. So I would just like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart and let's try and reach 500 page views by the end of the year and if we do, Jordan and I will be releasing 2 movie reviews and 3 music reviews all on the same day as a token of our gratitude. The next thing I must talk about is something kinda odd. Do you people want to see Meme reviews? It is a bit of an odd question but if you do, please comment down below or try contacting Jordan on Snapchat or Instagram. Thirdly, we will be reviewing Gorilaz-D-Sides and Pink Floyd-The Wall however it has been taking longer then we had expected so we are sorry if you are looking forward to those reviews. They are coming but they will be tacking a while to do so. These albums are pretty long and do take some time to listen to and to write about. Gorilaz-D-Sides will be the first of these reviews. Last but not least is our announcement that at the end of the year we will be doing a giant interview where we talk about the albums that we reviewed this year and what was our favourite ones and our most hated ones. We will be doing the same for movies on our other blog known as Those Guys Who Review Films. Any way that's all for now and I would just like to once again thank all of you for 250 page views on our music blog. Thank you and goodbye.

Gucci Mane - Woptober
Gucci Mane - Woptober (Mixtape)
Released: 14 October 2016
Genre: Trap, Rap
Fav Tracks: Addicted, Out The Zoo, Intro: Fuck 12, Wop, Hi-Five, Aggressive
Least Fav Tracks: Money Machine
Review: Gucci Mane is hugely popular because of his relaxed way of rapping. The first track 'Fuck 12' is a really good intro for the mixtape and lets the listener know what to expect for the rest of the tracks. He flows well on the dark piano. He references how he was in jail in this song. He mainly talks about how the police are untrustable but God isn't. In the song 'Aggressive' the hook is too repetitive but his flow on this track is amazing. The production is too soft and doesn't fit the tone of the song. In this track he talks about how fame effects his life. 'The Left' sounds lazy and unorganised. It's production fits the tone but it's still too simple. The fist verse of 'Money Machine' is lazy and repetitive. The hook of this song is specifically awful. Rick Ross' verse is okay, but it lacks effort.
'Dirty Lil Nigga' is a song about himself spoken in third person. He talks about how he breaks into houses and other dangerous things. 'Wop' has some hilarious lines and great production with a dark cold piano melody. In 'Right On Time' Gucci says the word time, exactly fifty times. The production from Zaytoven saves this track from being terrible. 'Bling Blaww Burr' with Young Dolph has interesting and weird production and some funny lines. From what I know the hook is supposed to denote someone feeling 'cold' reacting to Gucci Mane. 'Icy Lil Bitch' is about a girl who he met. He describes her as cold hearted or 'icy'. The song has some funny lines where he compares her to Madonna because she's a material girl. 'Love Her Body' is just annoying and repetitive. The auto tune just makes the track more insufferable. It has a good concept but it's poorly executed.
'Hi-Five' is a catchy track with some funny lines. 'Out The Zoo' although having a terrible intro has some great production. The song is about how he got out of prison, in this song he compares prison to a zoo. In 'Addicted', the best song on the mixtape, he talks about his family's addiction to drugs. It's actually surprisingly introspective which I didn't expect from this album. What I love the most about this song is that he never actually says any of the stuff he's addicted to is good. The dark piano really fits his deep lyrics. One promotional single was released for this mixtape which was 'Last Time' with Travis Scott. It's a pretty forgettable song.
This mixtape is a fun listen and you should check it out if your bored. It's on youtube so you can give it a quick listen. There are some tracks I would return to but overall this mixtape is good.

Review: Tate and I sat down to review this album. Here's what we said about it.
Big Beast: (j) Hard hitting, Powerful. (t) Bun b was too calm on his verse. (t) Good
El-P production. I love the cartoonish synths, what I've heard they continue throughout the album.
Untitled: (Tate) Not a good hook (j) Sounds like a foreign instrumental, amazing lyrics (t) lacks something. (j) Ear shredding intro (t) Bad intro to the hook, pretty good lyrics though.
Go!: (j) Questionable production. (j) Stellar rapping. (j) Stellar flow. (t) Good rapping.
Did Eminem get the idea for rap god from this? (j) Yeah I agree!
Southern Fried: (j) Way too awkward (j) Good production. (t) Bad hook (j) What no I liked the hook. It's good to sing along with. (t) Boring. messy flow. The ending sucked.
Jojo's Chillin: (t) Not that good (j) it's not that bad, good flow. (t) Bad hook. Is the flow edited flow? (j) That's not really a bad thing in my opinion. (t) Weak production. (j) It's ok. I like the story. (t) I don't mind it.
Reagan: (j) Nice intro. (t) it's clearly anti-Reagan (j) first verse was amazing (t) I agree (j) Sick production. Reminds me of Leftield. (t) Yes. (t) That was powerful. Very good production. overall great track. (j) Amazing story.
Don't Die: (j) Nice introduction. It's like video game sounds. (t) Get it? Don't die. Video games. (j) Oh yeah. I really like the instrumental. (j) Deep. I like the way it changes. (t) It's playing off itself. I like that John Connor line. (j) I don't get it. (t) John Connor? Terminator? (j) Oh I get it now.
Ghetto Gospel: (J) I like the production. (t) I'm gonna agree with The Needle Drop and say the hooks not that good. (j) I didn't mind it. (t) Interesting story (j) Yeah.
(t) The hook doesn't work for me. (j) I like the choir sample at the end of the verses.
Butane (Champion's Anthem): (j) The intro is awful. (t) Ha, what was that? (j) Oh god, It's his ad-lib, He does it after every verse. (j) I love the production. (j) I don't like the hook. (t) Meh, It's ok. (j) The lyrics are good. (t) It sounds like it should be in the Mafia III soundtrack.
(j) El-P has a good verse on the track. (t) Yeah. (j) the hook has some really lack lustre lyrics.
(j) The good tracks over weigh the bad tracks on this album. (t) Like "Reagan".
Anywhere But Here: (j) The instrumentals sick. (t) I can't agree more. I don't like the deep tone in the first verse. (j) The singer doesn't fit at all. (t) yeah. (j) A bit too relaxed?
(t) Yeah, he's not really enjoying it. (t) This could have been a great song without the singer on the hook. (j) True.
Wilkie Burke Sherwood: (t) Terrible intro. (j) I like the production. (t) Feels like a jigsaw puzzle being put into the wrong places. Just doesn't work. (j) It's ok. I don't like the start of the second verse. The lyrics are good though. (t) Intresting story. (j) It makes me feel for him. However it doesn't really work.
R.A.P. Music: (j) The intro is deep man. (j) I like the hook. (t) I like this song but I can't explain why. (j) Good story. (t) I like this. (j) Yeah. I do too.
(t) 8/10 For me. (j) Same here

Review:
Overall,in my opinion this album was deep yet it had some very interesting,to say the least, parts. It's flow was consistent and barely never got messy except for Southern Fried. That song had no point in the album. So here is my interview with Jordan the main owner of Those guys who review. Enjoy!

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Review
Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Fav Songs: Dark Fantasy, Lost In The World, Monster, Power, Blame Game, Gorgeous, All Of The Lights
Fav Songs: Dark Fantasy, Lost In The World, Monster, Power, Blame Game, Gorgeous, All Of The Lights
Least Fav Songs: Uhhh I guess Devil In A New Dress?
Released: November 22, 2010
Review: Kanye West is an Atlanta, Georgia rapper who a lot of people don't know much about. So today I looked back into his universally acclaimed 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The album is his fifth studio album. The first track Dark Fantasy shows why Kanye is so loved. It's about how people often view celebrity life as "fun and easy" even though it's not. It has amazing production by Kanye West and RZA. Gorgeous featuring Kid Cudi is all about racism in America and how "Jerome gets more time than Brandon". The production is very simple yet powerful. Power is a work of art that features powerful production. At the end of the song he contemplates ending his life while he's at the peak of his career. All of The Lights has an beautiful but sad interlude performed by Elton John and Chris Chorney with a piano and a cello. All Of The Lights itself is a song about Kanye Wests quarrels with life where he talks about divorces, domestic abuse and other serious topics. The song has generally pop-ish production however it still has very good production. Monster is an energetic song that features performances from Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Pusha T, Rick Ross and Bon Iver. So Appalled is a deep insight into celebrity life and how everyone should just stand up and say, forget everyone and everything! Devil In A New Dress is a song about Kanye West using familiar religions to think all sorts of nasty things about a girl.
Blame Game featuring John Legend is a beautiful song about Kanye's relationship with a girl/fame. Lost In The World is a powerful track about the two sides of Kanye's relationship. This album in my opinion is one of Kanye's best albums to date, it has twists and it opens up the life of a celebrity.

Vince Staples - Prima Donna Review
Vince Staples - Prima Donna EP
Released: August 26th 2016
Genre: Hip Hop
Fav Tracks: Smile, War Ready, Prima Donna, Big Time, Pimp Hand
Least Fav Tracks:
Rating: 9/10
Rant: Vince Staples returns with his best release to date, overpassing Summertime '06 by far. This album never fails to excite and brings clever lyrical content and shows the up's and downs of his career. My favourite song on the album is Smile because of it's production and lyrics about how we should smile for him after he's left his friends and changed since he left home to become a musician. War Ready is a song of how Vince doesn't use guns to fight in war but uses his words/rapping skills. It samples lyrics from Andre 3000 from Outkast. Prima Donna, the title track features an appearance from A$AP Rocky in this high energy song. On Pimp Hand Vince discusses what elders think about what elders think about current rap and about how they shouldnt comment on current rap since it has changed since their time. Let it shine, the intro (sort of) is the darkest song on the EP. It's Vince singing This Little Light Of Mine a child's gospel song in a depressing and dark tone and right at the end of the song he takes his life. In many ways this song is actually the outro because if you listen to the EP from Big Time (the last track) to Let it shine it starts as him getting into fame then eventually killing himself. In conclusion this album really doesn't disappoint when it comes to production or lyrics.

Swans - To Be Kind Review
Swans - To Be Kind
Fav Tracks: Everything
Least fav tracks : Nothing
Rant: The riffs on this album are really interesting and catchy. A little God in my hands has my favourite riff from the album. The thirty minute song Bring the Sun / Toussaint L'Ouverture" feels like a spiritual journey with its ominous sounds.

Blood Orange - Freetown Sound Review
Name: Blood Orange - Freetown Sound
Released: 28th June 2016
Genre: Indie Pop, 80's Revival, Experimental
Review: Blood Orange or Devonté Hynes releases one of his most ambitious records to date with Freetown Sound. Blood Orange has been making music for a while now and has so far made 3 records with this being his most popular. On this record Blood Orange puts out catchy song after catchy song. This album brings a special message of racism while at the same time still talking about love and relationships. This record also includes many popular guest singers such as Carly Rae Jepsen, Zuri Marley, Debbie Harry, Empress Of, Nelly Furtado and many more. The vocals provided are always energetic and exciting. The vocals on Best To You (performed by Empress Of) are my favourite vocals on the record because of their power and energy. The start of the record is a weakpoint for me because of its lack of songwriting and production but then the record later picks up. Overall the record has many fun moments and is worth listening to.
Fav Tracks: Best To You, Love Ya, Desire, Juicy 1-4, Thank You, E.V.P, Hands Up, Better Than Me
